The best photos are made when everyone is into it. The way to make that happen is to create an unforgettable experience. That's why I want my couples to DREAM BIG when it comes to planning their photos.

The process of planning engagement sessions and wedding photography is one of my favorite parts of my job. I love brainstorming with my clients, from locations and outfits, to what poses they are dying to try out. It's also a great way to get to know each other beforehand. By the time we shoot - we're warmed up and ready to go!

To learn more about the entire process from start to finish, I've broken it all down below!

THE BOOKING PROCESS

Secure Your Date

Customize Your Package

Get in Touch

Once you decide on your package I'll send you a customized proposal through Honeybook to seal the deal. Once you've paid the retainer (50% of the total), your date will be reserved!

The next step is to decide how many hours you'll need me for. I can walk you through this part if you have any questions! We'll also work out any travel arrangements if applicable. If you need to add on more hours later on it's no problem!

First, make sure we are a good fit! I encourage you to read my About, FAQ, and Pricing pages. After that, drop me a line at my contact page. Let me know any additional questions you might have. I'll get back to you ASAP!

PLANNING THE SESSION

Availability

Questionnaire

Location/Outfits

First, let me know your availability for the engagement shoot. I typically like to schedule the session 90 minutes before sunset for the most ideal lighting.

I'm flexible but Sundays are usually a good bet!

Lastly we'll coordinate on the location of the shoot and your outfits. I love to brainstorm about this stuff so let's talk!

I'll send you a questionnaire to fill out so we can plan the perfect session for you and your love.

PLANNING YOUR WEDDING

Your Timeline

Let's Meet Up!

Your Wedding Info

In the week before the wedding I'll need your final timeline for the big day. This should include where vendors/family/important folks will be and how to contact them. This will ensure I do the best I possibly can!

When it's getting closer to the wedding date, I'll want to meet up in person or on the phone to go over everything.

First I'll send you a questionnaire about your wedding details so I know what to expect. Here you should also send me a list of who you want formal photos with. This all makes the wedding day go super smooth!

Get in touch!

Expect your portrait session photos in 4-6 weeks and your wedding photos in 6-8 weeks.

You'll receive an online gallery (backed up for 10 years) from which you can download, share, and order prints of your photos.

Order prints and albums from the gallery or get them printed anywhere you'd like! Artifact makes great albums. Share away on social media, just be sure to tag/credit me!
