I met Kristen and her fiance Rob when they booked me last winter, thanks to one of my first couples I ever shot (Crystal and Ryan) who still refer me to all of their friends! It’s kind of crazy how the people at the very beginning are still such a big part of what I am doing today.
I’m not sure if it was the severely cold weather at the time that made me think of being in exact opposite conditions or what, but as we drank our Starbucks, I kept thinking to myself, “these two would look SO good on a beach!” I was definitely right. When it came time for planning, I happened to pick the beach closest to where they both are from (total coincidence!) I also immediately suggested Kristen book Vintage Veils as her hair and makeup artist for the day, since they are based in Annapolis. In my head, I had a super romantic, vintage feel for how I wanted it to look, and I knew that Vintage Veils would be perfect. Those girls seriously rock!
